Pranams didi;
Thank you for your comment. You are right. The verses should be repeated again and again so that , at least for the more important verses, they are committed to memory.
What might help too is knowing the diacritics, that is the marks on the Roman transliteration that indicate the correct pronunciation. If you have taken the Sanskrit course then you will of course know how the letters and words are spoken. Mostly we have to note the long 'a' which is held longer and indicated by the line on top of the letter 'a'. Also, the letter 's' if marked by a diacritic line should be understood to be like 'sh'. One other thing that comes up is the conjunction of vowels, such as 'a' or 'y' in which two words will become like one word - that is the last letter of the first word is a vowel and the first word of the second word is a vowel. Thus 'ca' which will be pronounced 'cha' if followed by 'eva' would be pronounced as 'Chaiva'.
I wish you had told me earlier as I would have repeated the verse a couple times.
Anyway, you can always click stop and return to hear the verse again.

Please accept my humble obediences teacher,
I wish that you could speak each word slower and repeat several times.
I apoligize for being so slow, and lowly. I am only a woman who seeks to know, the Lord and serve him and all devotees.
